╟★Un cielo pieno di stelle
Two days; that's how long it had been since Lightning packed his bags and left. Not a single word said about where he was going or when he would be back. It made the Italian worry, but he was used to this monthly routine. Whatever this was, it was of great importance to the racer and Francesco had to learn to get used to it. So he distracted himself with taking long walks on the beach, although he hated the feeling of sand. And by making plans for their new move. Looking over the countless catalogs of furniture styles and paint strips that might suit the interior of their new home. This task alone was not a hard one, But it was entertaining.
The day turned into night, but the text messages between the two just kept flowing. Fran had just texted Lightning asking if he would be back home tonight when Harv called with some news.
“The Harv. It’s nice to hear from-..”
“Yeah, yeah. Everything good. Anyways I got some great news for you wonder boy”
Harv had informed him that he had gotten a job opportunity. One that had involved the helping hand of another fellow racer. It was interesting to think that someone was in one way or another supporting the Italian. But not putting any thought, or questioning the motives. Francesco had agreed to meet up with him and Harv to sign the necessary paper works right after New Years.
One thing was for sure. His husband would be back soon, so why not plan something spectacular to celebrate. After all, it was their first New Years together.
Francesco: Do you have any plans for this weekend?
He texted his husband in excitement as he stared at the magnificent white scenery that lined the back cover of the catalog.
